Compaq predicted its business in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China will increase by 60% per year.The most bullish is the China market. In China the total market of PCs (PC only) this year is about 2 million
units, With 40% growth in this market, the market in the next five years will be : 2.8 million, 3.92 million, , 5.5 million, 7.7 million,
10.8 million units. This will cover any slow down in S.E. Asia, even Europe as a whole !!!!!!!!!!!! Remember, it is just a conservative
estimation of 40% growth in the Chinese market, and it can be even larger than that!!!!!!!!!!!! |
