That's why I've never been a fan of McCain. He and others like him are essentially fiscal liberals when it comes to spending -- except that instead of expanding government as a whole as individuals like Schumer and Obama relentlessly propose, they are willing to expand the Pentagon irregardless of cost or benefit. Remember the $2000 toilets in the defense budgets of the 80s?
