sergio: I did call Monday morn and was told no option activity was exercised. And so I was a little surprised when later in the day (Mon) I was told all of my shares were 'called' away. And then again I was amazed to get a call at noon (noon !) that only 23% of my shares were 'called away' not 100% Actually I'm having a good year so all this is being taken in stride. I have a limit order in now for CCs on the remaining 77% of my shares so it might turn out to be in my favor anyway. I'm just amazed how all this can happen in 1997. BTW, my broker noted a "clearinghouse" for options, where are they ? What do they sit down and figure out who gets called ?
