John, as I type this I'm watching my sprinklers raining water in front of the backdrop of my creek. The trees are green, the sky is a beautiful shade of clean air blue, the mountains are forested with timber and my cherries are getting ripe. The blackberries are blooming late this year but we had some late rains so we should have good, juicy berries in a few weeks. Sadly, if only there was some way to stop them from spreading all over my meadows but I haven't found it yet because I won't spray out here. In the future the creek will still flow and the timber will still grow strong and tall while the foolish political era that we're living through will have seen an end, maybe with a bang, maybe with a whisper. In the interim, I suspect that you and I will find more interesting topics to discuss. g. Ed
