Could you refresh my memory about how (why) CCI got so cheap in early 1992
I wish I knew then. All I knew was that Citicorp is a well known name in international banking and it's stock was cheap. In fact, back then I wish I knew as much about investing as I know now. Those days I was just like many novice investors - like some I see on some of the threads on SI.
CitiCorp dipped to 8ish in January 1992. I think it was due to some banking mess in Latin America or something (I am not sure.) It turned around after the Feds eased reserve requirements.
