Does this mean that the 386 is more combat ready than the pII or that the US military is preparing to fight tomorrow's war with last week's technology? Know the story on the M-16? Great gun, only someone in the brass decided to save a bunch of money by using out dated gunpower, which Olin had in great supply. It only lowered the muzzle velocity by a couple of hundred feet per second. Nobody bothered to check and see if it would cause the gun to jam due to insufficient 'blow-back' on the bolt. The result is a bunch of dead GIs. Sorry for blowing off, but I don't always trust my gov't.
