Both Dread Scott (Slavery) and Roe v Wade (abortion) demonstrate that the SCOTUS is more than capable of making some glaring mistakes Since you introduced the subject baby skitters.. Yes , we're all very well aware about the Southern Baptist coalitions who used the *supremacy of scripture* to ratify the practice of slavery endorsed unanimously by looking to the Bible to justify this as a "human institution" granted them by God . By their all knowing purest conscience & judicial decision made back back in 1845 was one of the lead cultural forces that led to the brutal American Civil War . All brought to us by holy scripture .... *And then only took them till 1996 well into the 20th century to finally* "*seek forgiveness of their African brothers & sisters*" and "unwaveringly" denounce racism in all its forms as a deplorable sin, well that sure took a while didn't it ? And we don't have to cherry pick out of the grabbage can of apologetics to know this is true for any person that has the slightest background in learned study & isn't a " deaf dumb & blind nihilist" of true history knows these facts .
