Unlike Vanni, I disagree -- there is an entry point for QNTM. It's $26-27.
While this may be "dead money" for a little while, and there may be other short-term opptys, that misses the point, which is fundamentally "What is your time horizon?". If you buy something else, unless you are an unrepentent trader, you will probably stick with it for 6 mos or more. By then it will be too late to see QNTM at $26-27. There is well documented risk in QNTM -- if DLT slows, if they don't get past this price war, if, if if... We know these risks are real. However, we also know that IF Qntm delivers, they will clearly deserve a multiple closer to 15 than to 8-9. They may only get a 12-13 PE, but that would still, based on their $3.69 concensus est., mean a stock price of $44 minimum.
Vanni, (I know you are reading this) unless you say *what else* you would buy, you *cannot* conclude there are better opptys. It's against the rules (at least my rules).
So please break your oath and say: A) what you think will return more than 62% minimum over the next 6-8 months and, B) tell me why you don't think QNTM will deliver $3.69 a share. (This incorporates all recently reduced estimates. |
