<<AVP turnarund .>>

i think this one is interesting to. i put in a couple of orders last week (i think it was) that have not filled, so i may miss the fun. i am intrigued by Warren being a participant in the revised Coty bid. my impression is he does not do hostile and he does not negotiate all that much, but also i think people generally would think of BRK as a good home. it would seem AVP could fit within BRK rather than within Coty, and obviously BRK has the resources to just do its normal thing -- buy on open market without paying control premium, patiently, over time, and eventually get control at a nice discount. i think what Coty brings to the table is industry-specific knowledge that might be lacking at BRK, but it doesn't seem any more far fetched than candy or underwear.

in any case i would love to see another pop down so i get a fill. i might end up chasing, but not so inclined today. today is a day to move money from MM to bank in preparation for closing on a house very soon.
