Re: Is everyone holding RSO-PRA?

This is hard to figure in some ways. I expect further price increase as the pfds reach the hands of investors who will hold them for income. Volume will dry up to nothing i would think especially given the small size of this offering at only 265,000 shares. But then again, management will reopen this issue at any time. It's meaningless actually, but alot of investors will treat it as they do common stock secondaries and sell off their shares. That is, if they hear about it. Maybe they won't. I can't even find a press release for this issue, only a prospectus.

Lot's to speculate about besides the usual. But i'm going to trade what i see and that is further increase due to IPO liquidity drying up. That has been the pattern for high yield pfds. And if it doesn't come to pass, i'm ok with holding my small position in this issue given it's current plus 9% yield.

And i will make sure to keep an eye on RSO....................................Xot

From the prospectus
265,000 shares of 8.50% Series A Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock. We reserve the right to reopen this series and issue additional shares of Series A Preferred Stock either through public or private sales at any time and from time to time.
