Hawk,

In the recent 12 years of Executive Branch crap (or perhaps we should go back to Iran-Contra, even Watergate), Fast and Furious is not the show stopper.

The over reaching of the Executive Branch, cranked-up by the "strong unitary executive" of Bush Cheney is a legitimate debate. Including Obama's broad use of the doctrine... As is light on the Republican's immediate partisan shift in such ideology, when Obama took the oath.

The screeching and screaming of the tired noise machine is falling on tired eardrums of the American voter who is tired of the vitriolic attacks. Americans want to know just how the economy will recover for Main Street, other than return to Bush/Cheney policies of crony deregulation and an emerging "privilege" of low paying jobs and family medical risk. While the improvements in wealth and tax benefits continues to move to an immune elite who appear to not actually "merit" it other than having powerful lawyers, lobbyists, and being on the inside. In fact, the American people feel that some of the "winners" are actually criminals being protected by whom they have purchased. The worsening distribution of wealth away from the consumer classes...

This is what is on America's minds. Not Issa's political attacks of Eric Holder. The GOP is missing the opportunity to learn from what happened in 2000-2008, and what is on America's mind.

Romney is an elitist, who says whatever he needs to say to please his masters. That's what conservatives should be focused on. The noise machine needs to power down, and grow up.
