Timothy, if you haven't been selling calls right along, like Barbara Payne, you probably shouldn't start now. Barb has been doing this for awhile and has been making money at it but sooner or later she knows she's going to lose. This will be her signal to start buying the calls. Consider this, the end of the "challenging" 3rd quarter is only 2 weeks away. This will also be the end of the rebate, hopefully. These 2 facts will start to drive the stock price up. Notice, also, that the volume has started to pick up and we are off the lows of several weeks ago so even though the price isn't moving up as we would like these are early indications that the "tide has turned". We are not completely out of the woods yet. Iomega still has to announce what the price will be for the Zip drive. Personally, I'm hoping for $199, but $179 would still be good news. And we must wait for the 3rd quarter figures. If they are released early, like around 10/8, as someone on this thread posted earlier, this would be news, but if they are reported late like on the 17th this wouldn't be as good but still might be good enough to drive the price up. Personally, I'm bullish. I think the sales are going to be "kick ass" which because of the tie ratio bodes well for the next 12 months. I'm not so enthusiastic about the earnings for the 3rd quarter but if the sales are good the earnings won't matter because we will make it up over the next 12 months in sales of disks. You may want to check out the Feb calls, or sell puts, but remember my bias is bullish. Regards Stan
