A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the majority discovers it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury. After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy ensuing, always to be followed by a dictatorship, then a monarchy … Alexander Tytler

All a person has to do is observe the main focus of the Obama administration and their cohorts on the Hill to recognize that this is precisely what their agenda envisions.

Just look at the two latest (of thousands of) examples:

80% of the new agriculture bill deals with funding the exponential rise in food stamp recipients. 20% deals with farming. And the states are still being given bonuses for signing up new food stamp recipients.

Would you think the government of a representative republic would be encouraging independence and individualism rather than attempting to increase dependence on ‘government largesse’?

Not the Obama government – simply because it detests the form of government created by our Founders and envisions one run with an iron fist by a select elite.

November 6th will determine whether America survives along the lines of our Founders' magnificent blueprint ... or withers into this administration’s soon-to-be-realized deam of an elitist-run ‘utopia’.
