The idea that Romney would pick someone demographically identical to himself is laughable. And except for Rubio that describes everyone being talked about.

This can only be a smoke screen to keep attention away from the people they are REALLY interest in. And they are female and/or minority. That has been the safe "smart" thing do do for the past 8 elections and Romney when faced with an important decision always goes the safe smart route.

They dearly want to spring a surprise on the country when they announce the choice. That may be why they aren't going with Rubio - too obvious.

The Pawlenty talk is particularly silly. The smart folks agree he probably couldn't even deliver his home state to Romney, which has only 10 electoral votes anyway.
