I couldn't agree more, my friend. Unions represent anti-capitalism to the Nth degree. As someone who believes in freedom and personal liberty, I don't begrudge those wish to join unions, as wrong as I think they are, but their rights should never outweigh the rights and decisions of business owners.

For example, if a union decides to strike and demand higher salaries and more benefits for less labor and less productivity, that's their right. Likewise, it is the right of a business owner to either meet their demands, compromise with them, or fire them all and hire new workers who agree to work under his terms and conditions of employment. Freedom is lost when the government forces business owners to negotiate with the hired help. The hired help can either start their own businesses, seek employment elsewhere, or not work at all. That's what "freedom" is all about. -ng-
