John, I think that the deal will go through, but the price for NETG may be renegotiated. In any event, at current prices MCAF begins to look like a value play. In other words, I believe that the stock may be grossly undervalued at these prices. As I said before, I think that the drop in price was due to a combination of the Asian crisis and the merger. The result was some institutional investors and momentum investors exiting. I see no reason for this stock to be trading on the mid 40's. The merger knocked an initial 15% off of the price, and Asia knocked off another 20%.
