Actually I don't think so.

Doesn't seem like that is the purpose of Issa's hearings at all... (considering that he refused to allow ANY witnesses to be called who could describe the genesis of the four previous 'gun walking' programs that came before this, the fifth one.)

You know... to find out what they were thinking, what the idea was when they CAME UP with this whole technique... what they were trying to accomplish.

And considering that of all the guns found at the scene of this latest death (I say 'latest' because I sure there have been many others on both sides of the border) the only two linked to the latest 'gun walker' program, 'Fast and Furious', could not be linked up by ballistics tests to the bullets which killed the agent.

So... perhaps they came from guns provided from one of the the other programs? (Or not... but clearly there will be no investigation to get to the bottom of it as far as Issa is concerned....)

Seems all he wants to make is political hay... facts and evidence might get in the way of what he's after so... no 'inconvenient' witnesses to be allowed. No 'inconvenient' questions allowed to be asked either.
