Egypt just had its first democratic election. That is a cause for celebration.

And the most ironic piece of news is that, back when the White House was giving the Brotherhood free publicity, the M.B. decided to declare that they would not seek the Egyptian Presidency. The White House welcomed the news. And this is the most ironic screenshot of the day (click on the image for better quality):

So after a year of guessing, the White House is shown to be completely wrong and incompetent. Better, the Left enjoyed whining that Republicans were making a big deal out of the Muslim Brotherhood and that it was a political witchhunt.

But I'm certain that they would never use such wrong, broken, deceitful rhetoric again, right? Right? Oh, yeah.
