A interesting opinion from a blogger on Huffington Post on the Health Care Case.

IMO:

The federal mandate will be deemed unconstitutional, and the majority opinion will be that if the mandate were a tax it would be constitutional. The rest of the law will stand. States will be allowed to opt in or out of the mandate, as Massachusetts already has. States controlled by Republicans governors will opt out, while Democratic governors will opt in. Buying insurance across state lines will lower the cost in Blue states, while raising them in Red states. As more and more people buy their health insurance in Blue states, and insurance companies in Red states lose money, lobbyists will force Republican governors to enact mandates in their own states, forcing insurance rates down for the entire country.

And so a Supreme Court decision, conservatively weighted against a liberal leaning law, will end up accomplishing just what the law was supposed to do in the first place, even though it was voted unconstitutional. Maybe, you just can't keep a good thing down.
