You can check out this site for some info; livevol.com When TSHTF a few years ago, I split my account between Etrade & Ameritrade for safety reasons. Also set up 3 additional MM accounts in different banks linked to the brokerage accounts to be able to move funds in and out quickly. Had 1 MM account set up for CDARS to be able to get FDIC ins over the limits available, but haven't used that in a long time. I think that both are in a lot better shape than they were, but am glad I made the move just to be able to protect assets. I have no complaints about either broker and have received great customer service from both. Short week coming up the following week with 4th of July and then right into employment numbers and earnings season the week after. Will probably be reducing exposure starting this week.
