Natural Selction is blind: bereft of goal planning, thinking about some desired outcome, believing something, or trying to do something.

Never ceases to amaze how deep the ignorance goes with these apologist fellows you manage to cut n paste from all the time here . That even today with all the new scientific understanding of a field that is so vast in scope & added to everyday , they can still come up with such narrowed down cartoon essays, flagrantly sophomoric sermons , which are as meaningless as they are built upon false premises .

The short answer is evolution has strong random elements, but natural selection is not a random process. It is a mechanism which gives rise to the great complexity seen in all living organisms today. It does not indicate what the result will be, but it does explain that complexity can be and builds in cumulative steps toward greater adaptability .

At least these fellows you cut & paste from could study the subject at hand before commenting and try to bring their knowledge up past 1955-65 to current models of understanding ...
