I've seen no evolutionary progress for almost 12,000 years or the time of Atlantis But have seen the entire swath of coastal North Africa over to Palestine & beyond which was once lush, green, verdant pasture lands become competely desert & barren . Not due to climate change but indescriminant sheep & goat herding taking place over 1000's of yrs . (They eat the plant right down past the nub of the shoot destroying grazing fields once they move thru and after 30 centuries of this beduin lifestyle it completely changes the topography of the land ) Mentally, whos to say ...there were men of ancient & classical times that had commited to memory up to 10,000 lines of epic poems of their histories & legends or liturgys that were probably some of the most formidable intellects of all time comparatively . Whos to say...
