steve-- DMT may take an extra 6 mos., but CAP is ready now. as for what signigicant dollar contracts constitutes, only the q report in january will tell. we were told earlier this year that deployments would not begin until 98. i thought it would be sooner. i was wrong. they havent lied to us at all. as for the stock continuing in the current patter, i agree 100%. it will stay in this area until we get another RBOC announcement or the company becomes profitable. as a side note, i am not going to argue commercial viability with you. that is a moot point after US Wests rollout and the demand it generated. anyone who thinks the market isnt there is fooling themselves. and, what exactly is your point steve? that we should abandon xDSL and go into cablemodems....maybe HLIT? many of us have holdings across the board in telecom equip companies. some of them are competitive with each other. but, in the last few months i have learned an important lesson...the market is big enough for everyone with a competitive product. good luck to all, trey
