Science isn't a person and therefore does not make any statements.

Some closed minded scientists may think that Genesis is a myth. There are no scientific reasons to believe that miracles of the kind described in the bible are impossible since ultimately they have a cause. It's only philosophical naturalism that rejects all claims that it can't explain naturalistically, a priori.
