This scenario seems overly pessimistic in the same way that 'gold is ready to EXPLODE' is overly optimistic. Keeping ones' assets in cash and getting into gold later is advice given too late for many on this thread, I suspect. Since prevailing belief is that gold price is being manipulated, any advice can be right. If we knew the agenda of the manipulators we could position ourselves properly. However since the agenda is unknown, it's all a crapshoot. About the only advice which is meaningful is 'be careful out there'. Take your best guess at gold price movement and go with it - AND keep your exposure to a minimum.
