Anyone want to start our own games?? Let's pick up a few shares on the cheap. I'll call up and sell 1 share. That tremendous amount of selling will force the MM's to drop the bid price a few points. Someone else can then call their broker and sell 1 share. This, in the eyes of the MM's, will be an avalanche of sell orders and an incredible amount of downward pressure on the stock. They will probably lower the ask price a few points. Then everyone can grab a few shares at the lower price. (We will have plenty of time to grab those shares since it takes about 10 - 5K buys to get the price to move back up!) Then we'll laugh all the way to the bank!! Wouldn't that be nice? Only in America? p.s. For those blockheads who will read this and not understand sardonic humor or sarcasm, I will offer this disclaimer: This is a joke - this procedure should not be practiced in reality. I am not endorsing the selling of your shares! I am poking fun at the way the MM's move the price down on very small sales and do little or nothing when a large buy takes place. Nuf said. - Pat
