Anyway, like you, I don't see this as an Apple threat, at all. Amazon, maybe. But as far as Apple is concerned? Not even a flesh wound.

IMHO a hedge against the future. Some think (me) that 80% of the computing devices sold in 10 years will be tablets. You may not win the initial battles, but all these guys know they have to fight them to have the experience to be in the war that's coming. The category is in, maybe, the second inning. Maybe the bottom of the first, with two outs, and Apple leading 40 million to 3 million, and Balmer pitching.
