Just over a year ago I couldn't see needing a smart phone.. now it's a freedom machine.. but I still didn't see the need for a tablet.. That has changed also.. I'll be looking in the fall for one since I've noted those keyboards.. I travel a lot during the winter for hockey and ski racing and I take lots of pictures.. I still lugged my Dell notebook around last winter but only used it for picture storage occasionally if I ran out of SD card room. I found the phone could do most of what I used the notebook for and some things the notebook couldn't do.. A tablet with a hard keyboard will do the trick .. but the iPhone laser keyboard option would be something that could make me consider switching phones down the road.. I still find the iPad a bit too bulky for me.. Both my sisters have one so I've played around with them.. only the size really bothers me.. BTW... the least used function on my phone is the phone now and I don't even use it for music :O)
