One of my sisters also has a kindle fire for work.. but still prefers her old style kindle for reading.. in any event better size for her than the iPad.. The sister that likes the iPad.. only uses it at home..

Another dad on my kid's hockey team bought an iPad and was filming his kid etc with it.. a few weeks later he showed up with a playbook.. and he loved it.. was basically the size.. his wife got the iPad :o) Then again the fellow was a died in the wool Blackberry BBMer..

size my Nexus S is just a bit too small screen wise to sub for a tablet/notebook full time.. but notebooks are not even in the race for travel now.. OK for the trailer and very convenient at home still though.. I still have one desktop beast with a few screens on it in my inner sanctum :O)

still no disputing that the iPad rules.. Just won't fit into any of my pockets :O)
