First off let me state you really need to speak with a quailfied tax consultant, that said I looked in J.K. Lassers tax guide for professionals, if you have access to a copy you will find info on page 428 section 30.7 my reading and understanding (which may be off, cause this stuff is written like an Iranian owners manual for a computer) is that the purchase of warrants, options or anything to do with the same company will disallow the tax credit. So unless we have a good Tax man here, CALL ONE :)
