Actually I only "conjectured" that many shorts may have covered at 22 and that is probably true. At 25 it has obviously become an attractive short again. This does not bode well for ASND. More often than not a heavily shorteed stock is being shorted for very good reasons, I've seen it time and time again. Go back and look at those monthly short interest figures again. A DIRECT correlation between an increase in SA and a decrease in stock price. The "dreaded short squeeze" is all too often a myth perpetuated by desperate shareholders willing to believe ANYTHING other than the truth. A big short interest is one of the things I incorporate into my screens when looking for candidates. If there is a big short interest it doesn't make the grade. I also use it as part of my screen for SHORT candidates. It's that much more attractive as a short if it has a good sized SA. Regards J.E.F.
