We should use the same model for education. Right now everyone pays for education, but people who send their kids to private school end up paying twice. The ACA ruling seems to support the idea that people who pay for a service in the commercial market (education, medical) shouldn't be taxed by the government for that service. In other words, the ACA ruling seems to support the concept of vouchers. Could this be a way to weaken the teacher's unions?
I don't think there are any constitutional problems with vouchers; it's up to the legislatures to allow them.

But it could be used to strengthen the economy; pass a law requiring all American families to own at least one auto made by an American car maker or pay a $2000 annual tax. That might get Detroit back on its feet.
