Yes, those are some limitations, all of which are shared by the Kindle Fire as well, I believe. it's worth noting that I have a WiFi-only iPad, which I think constitutes the majority of the market. But the temptation to carry a 7 incher around would be greater, I agree. Verizon's shared data plans could facilitate this, if only the tablet had the hardware.
