<< Roberts is a truly "intelligent" person. There is no telling how he will end up.>>

The problem is that it takes three things to make a wise person: smarts, education and sanity.

If one turns that into an equation and on a scale of .01 to 1, a person who has smarts of 1, X education of 1, X sanity of .01 they have wisdom of .01.

As I am sure you feel as much as I, one has to seriously ask, how anyone who is "smart" can be in the Republican party? There is nothing smart about that party, or philosophy, except their ability to dominate our democracy with ruthless lies and deception.

So one has to ask what motivates anyone to be a Republican or support its sociopathic/Randian philosophy? We know why Alito, Thomas, Scalia and Kennedy are Republicans. Using Occam's razor one has to bet Roberts is no different.

PS, I remember when everyone heralded Scalia's genius, and Rhenquist graduated at the top of his class at Stanford. Those the guys set back civilization many years.
