Its ideology that got us this law. The ideology that big government provides good solutions. Government, big and small, provides a lot of good solutions. Roads, police, fire, defense, judicial, prisons, education, research, space program, good regulation, ... ... ... ... ... Only the ideologically induced blind don't see that. There is a balance between public and private that works really well. The private sector doesn't exist without the public sector. The public sector has to step in when the private sector makes an important function unaffordable and unavailable to the public. Most of us know this.
