I can't subscribe to such a blanket statement..

Government shouldn't meddle even to assist in helping keep down Healthcare costs and/or to prevent fraud by any involved parties (providers or recipients)?

Government has to be involved to some extent.. The question is where to draw the line?..

This country is a country of people, not corporations. I'm perfectly fine with permitting corporations to make a profit, so long as the needs of the people of this country are properly served.

We harness Capitalism to serve the needs of the people, not enslave the people to an economic system.

The health care system in this country is dramatically flawed as we're spending nearly 20% of our GDP on it. The question is what to do to insure that medical excellence is promoted, while serving the needs of those who cannot afford it.
