doctors are not doing much publicly to let people know they are leaving the profession. i got a letter about a month ago from the practice of a particular surgeon who has been doing all kinds of general and specialized surgeries for at least 20 years. it was just a letter to inform former patients he has left his texas partnership practice of surgeons to take an administrative job in seattle. the letter recommended other surgeons in the partnership for any work that needed to be done. this will happen more and more if obama's brand of healthcare insurance continues after january 2013.
