Does somebody really pay him to write such stuff: <
And while most of the fees should go toward mitigations, some could be devoted to funding an alternative future based not on jobs shipping our fossil wealth to Asia but on green jobs building efficient infrastructure to take better advantage of the renewable energy resources. Such local, knowledge-intensive construction jobs are nearly impossible to export. That would be a rational, economical way to begin the overdue transition to the low-carbon future our children and their children must eventually embrace.

If he thinks it's such a great idea, he could start one of those Green companies providing green jobs building efficient infrastructure. It's no doubt easier to hide on his island and spout about it from a safe distance.

His main theme - "Send more opm to me, because I'm writing sustainably about sustainable tipping points and green jobs which are just wonderful". He obviously has very delicate lungs if they ached because some coal trains went past for a couple of weeks. Such an ordeal.
