Charles, your wreath and Christmas tree are worth more to a decent person than all the dollars in the bank account of scumbag shorters that prey off other people losing their money. An honest shorter, one who finds an overvalued stock and shorts it but doesn't spread false rumors (yes, I admit there are very few of these and none of those are institutions), plays a valuable role in the correct pricing of securities. Just because I was on the wrong side of this one doesn't mean the shorts are evil.
