Nik, I was wondering why your blog just includes stocks mentioned in Barrons, so thanks for the explanation. I understand that you are limited in what you can post or talk about due to professional conflict. Looking at the websites mentioned in your blog led me to this article on Steel Partners: otcadventures.com I have been a fan of Warren Lichtenstein with the exception of his investments in Japan. I did not know that Steel Partners had gone public. It started otc and is now listed on the NYSE. On a quick glance it looks appealing. I don't see any Japanese exposure, Litchtenstein has skin in the game and the stock is selling at a deep discount to book value.
