Sunoco, Inc. (SUN) -NYSE The Carlyle Group LP (CG) -NasdaqGS I wonder if SUN might be a value candidate sometime w/ this new multi year refinery contract. Paul Senior was an early investor in SUN but I do not know if it is considered a value candidate stock at their current price. Pretty much all the value metrics look bad ( goo.gl ). I really do not like refiners as earning run w/ the economic cycle and right now it's going the wrong way. Also, their partner Carlyle probably got the best part of the deal but I am not able to see much value ( goo.gl ) in them on a first look. Maybe you are right that the rail infrastructure may be the best value play. EKS
