I see the Tea Party and the Occupy Wall St. folks as neighbors with much in common.

Unfortunately, they are essentially unsophisticated, uninformed and blinded by their ideologies. However, their instincts are right.

It will take a bunch of greedy class action lawyers who will stop at nothing to pick the bones of these thugs. That's when change will come.

Or we could have a simple fix: require that investment banks and hedge funds become general partnerships with anyone getting more than $500,000 in compensation required to be a general partner. This would put any general partner's personal fortune at risk if things go wrong.

Risk management would be sober and effective.
