MM, the purpose of the "reform" is to build a trillion dollar straw man, and then have him collapse -- which will represent proof that "market solutions" do not apply to healthcare.

We are being had. That's why characters like Kucinich, as I recall, at first objected to Obama's scheme, because it wasn't socialistic enough... -- but later became converts - after smarter people sat them down and walked them through what they expect to happen.

Btw, did you notice that those penalties slash taxes will go to the government -- NOT to the insurance companies, to help them with losses due to pre-existing conditions?
