>>And what do you make of the dwindling volume and stagnant stock price on such low volume??<< Usually: STOCK PRICE VOLUME INTERPRETATION rising rising great rising down note 1 down rising run away down down note2 note1: depends on what the stock did till coming here; if it was a run up on a high volume then it is OKish; if the stock was significantly down before this happened (some sort of consolidation) then it is looking good(read-those in the know are buying). note2: again as above depends on what the stock did before coming here; if there was a run up berfore coming here on a good volume, then it is bad as the distibution may start (read-those in the know selling), if the stock was beaten down (consolidating) then it does not mean much, OKish meaning that status quo may continue (the case with ASND now).
