Agreed, and you do well to correct the articles bit of slant which many articles have today.
But my point is domestic production is increasing and will increase further as we finally switch more usage over to cleaner, cheaper natural gas.

Of course, that is assuming some sanity in government and that may be asking too much in reality, judging from the near total lack of an effective energy policy the last 40 years.
