to: Ann, Sonny, Frank, Wiz, and Sonki. First allow me to wish you'll a happy Thanksgiving Holiday. From what I hear in some banking circles in Switzeralnd, there is a great deal of optimisim about US currency and US stock market.There are people here that believe the present crisis in Asia could after all benefit US economy. How? The only strong economy with solid fundementals is United States and US dollar (to lesser extent Sfr.) A great deal of capital is leaving Asia in search of safe havens. Now were these safe havens could be? Off course United States or Switzeralnd! And where these newly arrived funds will be invested: Tresury Bills and naturally NYSE and NASDQ! It is clear that the earning of US companies for a year or two maybe lower, but the grouth will be solid. So, we may get to see DJIA at 9000 sometimes in 1998. One indication could be the strength of US currecny in recent days and US stock market shy recovery. What is your opinion? Kind regards, Yaacov
