My perception has been that the WSJ has been fairly accurate with their rumors but I decided it was worth going back to look at their exact track record. Despite my general confidence as to their accuracy, I was surprised as to the degree. The articles I found absolutely nailed the actual announcements (particularly the iPhone 4S).
I kept looking for one where they were wrong, but failed <g>. If they are wrong on the 7" iPad, it would be their biggest mistake on Apple that I could find....by far.

The next generation iPad is expected to feature a high resolution display - 2048 by 1536 compared with 1024 by 768 in the iPad 2 - and Apple's suppliers have already shipped small quantities of components for the sampling of the iPad 3. Suppliers said Apple has placed orders for a 9.7-inch screen device.

Apple has ordered key components for a new iPhone it is aiming to launch by the end of September, said people familiar with the situation.
These people said the new iPhone is expected to be similar to the current iPhone 4, but thinner and lighter with an improved eight-megapixel camera.
One person familiar with the matter said the new iPhone will operate on Qualcomm Inc.'s QCOM +1.07% wireless chips.

Apple Inc. AAPL +1.15% has started manufacturing a new version of its iPad tablet computer with a built-in camera and faster processor, said peoplei familiar with the matter.
The new iPad will be thinner and lighter than the first model, these people said. It will have at least one camera on the front of the device for features like video-conferencing, but the resolution of the display will be similar to the first iPad, these people said. It will also have more memory and a more powerful graphics processor, they said.
The new iPad will initially be available through Verizon Wireless and AT&T Inc., T -0.55% but not Sprint Nextel Corp. S +2.06% or T-Mobile USA in the U.S., according to some of the people familiar with the matter.
