How do you become an ex-Canadian? Do you mean a Canadian that is resident in the U.S. or a Canadian that gave up his citizenship in favour of U.S. citizenship? I'm curious from a tax view point - I know two people who did the latter and they are both Cayman Island resident citizens - not U.S. where there is no clear tax benefit ahead of Canadian.
"Peter Jennings, Morley Safer, Alex Trebek, Neil Young, John Candy, Jim Carrey, Dan Ackroyd, Phil Hartman, Lorne Greene, Michael J Fox, Raymond Burr, William Shatner, Kiefer & Donald Sutherland, Martin Short, Glenn Ford, and about a jillion others."
I'm surprised you left off your list David Frum who was for years Chief speech writer for George Bush. en.wikipedia.org
Your list was also very male orientated as the ladies appear to have way more influence than the guys in the celebrity department.
