The iPhone has a touch screen feature. How come I cannot use the erase of my pencil to press the virtual button?
The short answer is that the touch screen on an iPhone doesn't sense pressure, it senses changes in an electrical field. Your non-conducting pencil eraser doesn't make any changes to the field.
