I would be somewhere between Obama and Ron Paul.

We have to be careful not to run other country's revolutions, or intervene when it doesn't produce the results we "approve" of. However, where I differ with Paul is I think we at some point, with our responsible allies, need to play a brave humane role when there is clear genocide. As we did in Bosnia. As we failed to do in a few other instances.

We need to measure our handling of the situation. Like with Pakistan, we have tremendous leverage with our foreign aid to this strategic country, and we will use that along with diplomacy.

Obama gets high marks for Egypt, a damage-control game. He could not control, like the US Supreme Court did here in 2000, :-) who got elected.

Egypt, an important strategic friend of the US in the region, is not finished with its self-determination process. Syria is much worse in its process.
